 Freedom
I know it’s nothing less than
this…
And OH… how Heavenly the
bliss!
You could never let me down…
Or look upon me with a frown!
I’ll be the best that I can
be…
My life is yours… my soul is
free…
Too short the journeys of
this life…
Chock full of worry, toil and
strife!
So often late… our lessons learned…
We recoil… our fingers
burned!
To recognize… our immortality,
Will take our souls from
jeopardy!
Please don’t wait until the
end…
It’s not too late… your Love
to send!
Peace shines forth for all to
see…
The Love of God... will set you
free! ...Cosma
“Freedom is the normal and natural
state of the son of God. The person who
has realized his spiritual nature and identity and who lives by the Spirit
cannot be limited in any way. There is
no way to confine spiritual being.”
“Freedom comes through enlightenment,
and that enlightenment comes through opening your consciousness to that which
cannot be seen, heard, tasted, touched or smelled, to a Power invisible, a
Power that does not war with other powers, but dissolves everything that
appears in the nature of an enemy, whether without our being or within.”
Quotes from “Realization of Oneness-The Practice of
Spiritual Healing” by Joel S. Goldberg.
“Spirituality
is not to be learned by flight from the world, or by running away from things,
or by turning solitary and going apart from the world. Rather, we must learn an
inner solitude wherever or with whomsoever we may be. We must learn to
penetrate things and find God there.” -Meister Eckhart

The Gate of the
Year
And I said to the man who stood at the gate of the year:
"Give me a light that I may tread safely into the unknown!"
And he replied: "Go out into the darkness and put your hand into the
Hand of God.
That shall be to you better than light and safer than a known way."
So, I went
forth, and finding the Hand of God, trod gladly into the night
And He led me toward
the hills and the breaking of day in the lone East.
So, heart, be
still! What need our little life,
Our human life, to
know, If God hath comprehension?
In all the dizzy
strife…of things both high and low… God hideth His intention.
The Desert 1908 by Marie Louise Haskins 1876 - 1957

“Self-realization
is a knowing—in body, mind and soul—that we are one with the omnipresence of God,
that we do not have to pray that it come to us, that we are not merely near it
at all times, but that God’s omnipresence is our omnipresence; that we are just
as much a part of him now as we ever will be.
All we have to do is improve our knowing.” Paramahansa Yogananda,
“Living Fearlessly”
"This could say..."God talks to you, all the time"! I assume you wouldn't be here if you weren't at least curious... a little bit! When I was 24, a few years before I had my spiritual awakening, I discovered there "Really was a God"! It came about after the death of the dearest soul I had ever known on this earth plane. I was in deepest sorrow, but at the same time, I was beyond ecstatic, with my discovery that there really was a God! It happened, instantly, after I said, "God, I have pretty well messed things up in my life...I want only to do your will... always in every way!" That was when I discovered God was really there...you see most people try to make deals with God, They say, "God, if you do this, I will do this"...I am here to testify that it doesn't work that way. God knows our hearts and minds and what we want and need, better than we do... and the moment we truly realize this and have Faith that His will is truly the best and only way, then you too will discover that God truly exists. It is all about Faith...and having the courage to step out in that faith...sometimes we can only make the leap of faith when we get to our lowest point. Our egos stand in the way...we think we know what is best for our selves... Until one day... Oops! ...we discover that we are in Earth School and the Lessons have already begun! The
most important thing I can tell you, is that God talks to us all the
time, through every media: books, movies, TV, a stranger, a
synchronicities, children... I have come to know the meaning
behind Jesus's words when he said: "Let them who have ears, listen and
those who have eyes, see." Forty years later I am still discovering and
learning about God." Love, Cosma
"God dwells in you, as you, and you don't have to 'do'
anything to be God-realized or Self-realized, it is already your true and
natural state." Just drop all seeking, turn your attention inward, and
sacrifice your mind to the One Self radiating in the Heart of your very being.
For this to be your own presently lived experience, Self-Inquiry is the one
direct and immediate way." Ramana

Lessons
Lessons learned…Lessons lost…
What do lessons really cost?
Lessons may be over priced…$$$
Sometimes they are put on ice!
Lessons never fully learned...
Bonuses bought… Never earned!
LESSONS! … Oh, the price we pay…
“I’ll put off this lesson… just one
more day!”
But Lessons do not wait… for anyone…
The time is NOW… the lesson has begun! ...Cosma
"Be grateful for your lessons, they'll wash your spirit clean...." song in Cherokee
Paramahansa Yogananda said of
God: "Yes, God is really there...I wouldn't say it was so, if it were
not true! God is very shy, but if you persist and be patient he will
show you!" (I am paraphrasing from a cassette tape I play over and over that Yogananda made before he transitioned from this Earth plane.) His
book, "Autobiography of a Yogi" is still an international best seller. Find out more

"Let my soul smile through my heart
and my heart smile through my eyes,
that I may scatter rich smiles in sad hearts."
~ Paramahansa Yogananda ~
"God is the atmosphere where our essence clarifies, where all
falsity and pretension vanish. Here we are utterly enfolded.
No words are needed; no actions required; for everything is here.
God is the time-circle where all our possibilities unite. In God the
ultimate portraiture of the soul fills out."
John O'Donohue
Cherokee Legend
"His father
takes him into the forest, blindfolds him an leaves him alone. He is
required to sit on a stump the whole night and not remove the blindfold until
the rays of the morning sun shine through it. He cannot cry out for help
to anyone. Once he survives
the night, he is a MAN. He cannot tell the
other boys of this experience, because each lad must come into manhood on his
own.The boy is
naturally terrified. He can hear all kinds of noises. Wild beasts must surely
be all around him. Maybe even some human might do him harm. The wind blew the
grass and earth, and shook his stump, but he sat stoically, never removing the
blindfold. It would be the only way he could become a man! Finally, after a
horrific night the sun appeared and he removed his blindfold. It was then that he
discovered his father sitting on the stump next to him.
He had been at
watch the entire night, protecting his son from harm. We, too, are never
alone.
Even when we don't
know it, God is watching over us, sitting on the stump beside us. When trouble comes,
all we have to do is reach out to Him.
If you liked this
story, pass it on. If not, you took
off your blindfold before dawn." Moral of the story:
"Just because you
can't see God, doesn't mean He is not there. For we walk
by faith, not by sight."

"Knowing
the whole truth, thou shouldst beware of unsettling the minds of those not yet
prepared to grasp it, as untimely teaching may drive from their work such as
see only half-truths, and become unsettled thereby. When thou shalt rise beyond
the plane of illusion, then shalt thou cease to disturb thyself regarding
doctrines, theology, disputations concerning rites or ceremonies, and other
useless trimmings upon the cloth of spiritual thought. You will be liberated from those who would
interpret that which they fail themselves to understand; but instead, shalt
thou fix thy mind in earnest contemplation of the Spirit and thus reach the
harmony with thy Real Self. That which seemeth real to the men of the sense-world,
is known to be illusion by the Sage." Quote From Lord Krishna from the
Bhagavad Gita
How to meet God...
